EQUEST
Equest is a single dose treatment containing MOXIDECTIN for the control of adult and immature roundworms, including encysted inhibited and developing larval stages of small redworm, also controls bots.
Equest's persistent effect prevents infection by small redworm for 2 weeks after dosing and suppresses the presence of small redworm eggs in the dung for 90 days.
The syringe contains enough gel to treat one 575kg horse at the recommended dose rate. Use of a scale or weightape is recommended to ensure accurate dosing. Each graduation of the calibrated syringe delivers sufficient gel to treat 25kg bodyweight. To avoid overdosing, particular care should be taken to accurately dose foals.
The recommended dosing interval for the control of small red worm is 13 weeks.
Safe to use at the recommended dose rate in foals over 4 months of age, mares, ponies and horses.
Precautions:
Horses must not be slaughtered for human consumption within 32 days of treatment.
Do not administer to young foals less than 4 months of age.
Formulated specifically for use in horses only.
Do not use the same syringe to treat more than one animal unless they are in direct contact with each other on the same premises.
